Implementation of the Bell Pepper and Tomato Cultivation Project in Rukaramu A youth-led initiative by RHF Burundi

Renewed Hope in Future -RHF- Burundi is pleased to announce the official launch of the bell pepper and tomato cultivation project in Rukaramu, located in Bujumbura Province.

This project is being implemented by the young volunteers of the organization through the Twese Hamwe Youth Cooperative, a local initiative aimed at promoting grassroots action and community development. The project aligns with RHF’s strategic vision, which focuses on three key pillars:

– economic empowerment of youth,

– promotion of sustainable and responsible agriculture,

– and inclusive community development.

The goal is to create economic opportunities for young people while strengthening food security in the region. It also involves the use of local labor, thus recognizing and utilizing the skills available within the community. This initiative has been made possible thanks to the generous financial support of our honorary members, to whom we express our sincere gratitude. Their commitment reflects strong confidence in the potential of youth-led action.
